Neyveli Uttar Pradesh Power Limited (NUPPL) a Joint Venture between Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) (51%) and Uttar Pradesh RajyaVidyutUtpadan Nigam (49%) is establishing coal based Ghatampur Thermal Power Project at Ghatampur, Kanpur District in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
The Transmission System has been planned for the evacuation & supply of power from the Ghatampur Thermal Power Project to the beneficiaries of the generation project.
i. Ghatampur TPS-Agra (UP) 765 kV S/C line (Including 189 MVAR line reactor at both end)
ii. Agra (UP)-Gr. Noida (WUPPTCL) 765kV S/C line (Including 240 MVAR line reactor at Agra end)
iii. Ghatampur TPS-Hapur (WUPPTCL) 765 kV S/C line (Including 330 MVAR line reactor at both end)
iv. Ghatampur TPS-Kanpur (PG) 400 kV D/C line
v. 765 kV Feeder 'Bay' (At Hapur, Gr, Noida & Agra Substations)
