REC Transmission Projects Company limited (RECTPCL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of REC Limited, which is a Navratna Central Public Sector Undertaking under Ministry of Power, Government of India. Ministry of Power has appointed RECTPCL as Bid Process Coordinator (BPC) for Inter State Transmission Systems across the country on Tariff Based Competitive Bidding route. RECTPCL commenced working as BPC in year 2007 and successfully awarded its first transmission project in the FY 2009-10. Till date, RECTPCL has been appointed as BPC for 28 (Twenty Eight) large Inter-state Projects valuing approximatly Rs 42,517 Crore.
Shri Ajeet Kumar Agarwal is Chairman of REC Transmission Projects Company Limited, He has done B.Com (Hons.) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi. He is also a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Shri Agarwal has 36 years experience in Public Sector Undertakings. He is responsible for the effective functioning of the Company in pursuit of its mission, goals and objectives.
Shri t. s. c. bosh Executive Director, REC, & CEO, RECTPCL, Govt of India Enterprise under Ministry of Power, New Delhi, India. Mr. Bosh started his career as Lecturer in Electrical Engineering and has around 30 years of work experience in Power sector. He had worked in varying capacities at senior level in REC, particularly headed State level Programme Offices (Chennai & Patna), Zonal Office (Central Zones - Odhisha, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh) and RECIPMT (REC Institute of Power Management & Training), Hyderabad. Mr Bosh had worked as GM for over 6 years dealing with erstwhile Rural Electrification projects which now subsumed in DDUGJY (DeenDayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana), the flagship Programme of Govt of India. Further, Mr. Bosh had worked as CEO of RECPDCL (REC Power Distribution Company Limited) and for a brief period headed the Corporate Social Responsibility, as well. Mr Bosh had been associated in the mission of Govt of India in the landmark electrification of all census inhabited villages in the country achieved by 28th April 2018 and achievement of Universal Household Electrification by providing electricity connections to all households (26.2 Million Households in a span of 18 months) in the country by 31st March 2019 (except 18,734 households in Chhattisgarh State). Mr Bosh is now associated with Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana – Saubhagya programmes of Government of India and heading RECTPCL.
Mr. Bhupender Gupta is Graduate Engineer in Electrical Power System with Masters in Business administration in Operation Management. Mr Gupta has vast Experience of 27 Years ranging from Project Management, Erection, Commissioning, Operation, Maintenance and Techno-Commercial appraisal, Bid Management, Consultancy etc. Right now he is working as Additional Chief Executive Officer since 2013 and prior to this worked in REC for 7 years in Project Financing, Coordination, progress review, Monitoring of Thermal, Hydro etc Power Projects, Documentation, Loan disbursal etc. Prior to REC he has worked with Associated Cement Company (ACC) for 3 years, Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd. for12 years with at various position with Tala Hydro Electric Power Plant in Bhutan on deputation for 3 years.
